The Wilmington Historic Half, 10K & 5K was voted the 2024 Best Half Marathon in North Carolina by RaceRaves!
You choose your distance:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- Challenge (5K followed by the Half Marathon). We are the only race in Wilmington to offer this!
All three courses take runners through amazing views of historic downtown Wilmington.
An awesome Finish Line party will be waiting for you! You’ll cross the finish line in Riverfront Park where there will be music, free beer from Wrightsville Beach Brewery and Oden Brewing Company, as well as some good ‘ole BBQ from BH BBQ Sauces & Smoke!

All of the courses take you on a beautiful route through downtown Historic Wilmington, North Carolina. The Half Marathon and 10K courses include the three bridges!
Half Marathon
Start Time: 7:45AM
Registration Includes:

Course includes the three bridges and waterfront views of downtown Historic Wilmington.

Start Time: 7:00AM

Course brings you through downtown Historic Wilmington and then loops back to Riverfront Park.
Virtual option also available.

Challenge
Start Time: 7:00AM

Take on the Historic Challenge and run the 5K + Half Marathon back-to-back.
