START TIMES

All races will start and end in Riverfront Park. CLICK HERE for directions.

The 5K will start at 7 AM 

The 10K will start at 7:30 AM

The Half Marathon will start at 7:45 AM

CHALLENGE RUNNERS SPECIAL NOTE: You must be able to complete the 5K in 45 minutes or less to get in line for the Half Marathon Start. There will be no late starts allowed.

PARKING

There are over 10,000 public parking spots in downtown Wilmington, CLICK HERE for a list of all available parking downtown.

FINISH LINE AFTER PARTY

You can count on a good time at our Finish Line After Party! Race Bash is bringing all the fun and even some SURPRISES…you won’t want to miss it! Hosted at Riverfront Park, the after-party includes beer from Wrightsville Beach Brewery and wraps from Tropical Smoothie Cafe (you will have voucher tabs on your bib for these). The after-party will be over at 11:30 AM. See you there!

AWARDS

Every participant will earn a finisher medal! In addition to that, we would like to celebrate some of our top runners! Stop by the Awards Tent to pick up your award! (We will not have a ceremony due to the different start times of the races.) The awards will be as follows:

WHY RUN THE HISTORIC RACE?

The Wilmington Historic Half Marathon, 10K and 5K takes runners through some amazing views in a completely closed course through Downtown Wilmington and other historic sites.  A race to remember and one you won’t soon forget includes the most historic routes of North Carolina’s largest historic district (Downtown Wilmington, NC), along the nation’s top-rated riverwalk, and over 3 bridges (in the 10K and Half Marathon only). Plus the Finish Line party is not to be missed! You’ll cross the finish line in Riverfront Park where there will be music, free beer and yummy food!
